Parents are invited to stay with their child during the first week of orientation. If a parent feels that more time is needed for the separation process to be successful they are encouraged to stay as long as necessary. Separation for "young twos" is the first and most important step children take in making their school experience a happy one.

Therefore, our policy is to encourage each child to feel comfortable and relaxed in their new surroundings while gradually getting to know and trust their new friends and teachers. We feel this step is of utmost importance and we make every effort to work very closely with parents to make this a positive learning experience.
